THE THIRD GLOBAL ETHIC WORKSHOP FOR
PRIMARY SCHOOLS OF HERZEGOVINA-NERETVA CANTON

After the successful realization of two global ethic workshops for primary schools teachers in Herzegovina – Neretva Canton, TPO Foundation has organized on April 22 - 23 2017, the last global ethic workshop for the 2016/2017 school year. This workshop was a great meeting place for fifteen teachers from eleven different primary schools from Rama, Konjic, Mostar, Jablanica and Gnojnce. On this occasion, the gathered Bosnian and Croatian languages teachers, Islamic and Catholic religions teachers, German language and the history teachers as well as the pedagogues trough synergistic work and thanks to the active mentorship of TPO lectures, jointly studied different areas and aspects of the global ethic concept in educational but also local and global social context.

Bearing in mind the specificity of the Herzegovina - Neretva Canton, as well as the complex education system which is present in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the lecturers have tried not only to include as far as possible all different perspectives of the global ethic, but also to initiate among teachers dialogue and exchange of experiences from various fields of pedagogical work. In this regard, the granted didactic materials have focused specifically on topics related to peer and gender-based violence at schools.
